Welcome to our new and improved website!
Now learning about The Unity Council and accessing services is easier than ever for our clients and for our community. The entire website can be translated by Google translate in multiple languages. Programs are intuitively organized under the main “What We Do” menu link, and are also listed alphabetically throughout the site. Also new – our Properties now live in their own menu, which allows us to highlight their many services and amenities to our community, including the planned development of Fruitvale Transit Village Phase II.
In 2014 The Unity Council refreshed their logo, in honor of its 50th anniversary of service. The new website incorporates the main colors of the logo and the angled elements from the rays of sunshine into menus and buttons.
The website was designed and built by BlinkTag, a local web development company that primarily caters to transportation and urban planning firms, with UX Design contributions by Amanda Damewood. The entire website re-design and launch started in November of 2015 and was led by The Unity Council’s Development & Communications Strategist, and brought in the voices and perspectives of clients, senior staff, and the outside community.
