Barbara Salazar serves as Chief Financial Officer at The Unity Council, bringing more than 25 years of expertise in finance, accounting, and operations. A strategic and forward-thinking leader, she has successfully scaled and managed the financial functions of both non-profit and for-profit organizations across diverse sectors including real estate development, engineering, property management, services, technology, and education.
Barbara began her career as Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she managed audits and consulting engagements for leading corporations and non-profit organizations. She has since held senior leadership roles as CFO of 7X-Group, CFO of E2 Consulting Engineers, Vice President of Finance at Grid Dynamics International, and CFO of Amour Vert.
In addition to her professional career, Barbara is deeply committed to service and equity. She serves on the Board of JIMLY Medical Missions, supporting healthcare access for underserved communities in the Philippines, leads Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for Women in Technology, and is an active fundraising leader with the American Red Cross.
Barbara holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University with Certificates in Global Management and Public Management. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California.
