Oakland Restaurant Week is officially underway, and once people get a taste of real, local food, they never look back! This annual event celebrates the diverse culinary scene of Oakland, and we’re especially excited to highlight some incredible restaurants in the Fruitvale neighborhood.
Make sure to check out some of our community’s favorite spots, including:
- Wahpepah’s Kitchen (@wahpepahskitchen) – Known for its Indigenous-inspired cuisine.
- Los Cocos (@loscocos510) – Serving up traditional Salvadoran dishes.
- Taqueria Reynoso (@taqueriareynoso) – A go-to for delicious tacos and Mexican fare.
These are just three of the 16 local restaurants featured in Fruitvale during Oakland Restaurant Week. Each one offers a unique flavor of Oakland’s rich cultural heritage, and we encourage everyone to support them by visiting and enjoying a meal.
Don’t forget to tag the restaurants when you visit! Follow @visitoakland for more details on participating restaurants and special deals throughout the week.
