Golden State Warriors, JPMorgan Chase, and The Unity Council Host Successful Food Distribution Event Supporting Local Restaurants and the Community
Oakland, CA – [Date] – The Golden State Warriors, in collaboration with JPMorgan Chase and The Unity Council, recently held a successful community food distribution event aimed at supporting local businesses while providing fresh, hot meals to Oakland residents. This initiative demonstrated their ongoing commitment to uplift both local restaurants and community members in need.
The event featured meals purchased from Oakland’s beloved Horn BBQ, which were distributed by The Unity Council at the Fruitvale Transit Village on Monday, February 27th. From 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 1,000 hot meals were provided to the community, including 600 BBQ plates and 400 roasted cauliflower plates.
“We were proud to partner with JPMorgan Chase and The Unity Council to give back to the community in a meaningful way—by supporting local businesses and providing fresh meals to those in need,” said Warrior’s broadcaster Kelenna Azubuike.
