The Unity Council is thrilled to celebrate 25 years of vibrant living at Las Bougainvilleas Senior Housing! From the grand opening on April 15, 1998, to the unforgettable Fiesta-themed 25th Anniversary celebration on July 27, 2023, it has been an incredible journey filled with community, joy, and lasting memories.
The original ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by our visionary former CEO Arabella Martinez on May 19, 1998, marked the beginning of an extraordinary chapter for Las Bougainvilleas. Fast forward to our 25th anniversary event, where we celebrated in style with a delicious Taco Bar from Taqueria Reynoso and lively tunes from a Mariachi band that had everyone dancing!
The night was a huge success, with around 70 residents joining in the festivities, alongside our dedicated Property Management team and amazing Social Service volunteers. We were especially honored to celebrate with three original tenants who have called Las Bougainvilleas home since the very beginning. A special shoutout goes to Georgia Price, who has been part of this community since May 24, 1998!
This milestone anniversary was more than just a party—it was a celebration of community, longevity, and the vibrant life Las Bougainvilleas has offered its residents for the past 25 years. We look forward to many more years of shared memories and community building!
