On Tuesday evening, The Unity Council, as part of the Resilient Fruitvale Collaborative, convened community and Oakland city leaders at Juntos Fruitvale for a conversation focused on executive actions to protect our immigrant communities.
Established in 2017, the Resilient Fruitvale Collaborative works to strengthen neighborhood resiliency through community-led plans that prepare the Fruitvale to respond collectively and compassionately to natural or human-made crises.
Bringing together Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee, city leadership and community partners is essential to protecting our neighbors and strengthening our collective response. Together, we remain committed to standing with our communities and working collaboratively to #ProtectTheTown.
