With the $6 million capital campaign for Juntos Fruitvale / Fruitvale Together, The Unity Council will transform the long vacant historic Masonic Temple into a three-story, 10,000 square foot community hub for entrepreneurs, local businesses and nonprofits, and artists in the heart of the Fruitvale. The revitalization of this centrally-located building at 3357 International Boulevard will enrich the community by providing:

Community-Serving Event Space  
Performance, event, and exhibition space for Fruitvale residents, local community organizations, and artists.  

Affordable Gathering and Work Space  
Below-market-rate office, conference, and gathering spaces for local entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. 

The Fruitvale Small Business Assistance Center 
Free bilingual support and technical assistance for over 300 local business-owners in the Fruitvale commercial corridor. 

Opportunities for Job-Seekers and Pathways to Employment 
A new headquarters for Peralta Service Corporation, The Unity Council’s social enterprise that helps low-income job-seekers overcome barriers to employment with job training and living-wage work.
