The Oakland Unified School District featured The Latino Men & Boys staff and students in an amazing video to talk about the program and the impact it has on the personal life and academic achievement of nearly 250 Latino young men.
On the video, Luis Ramirez, Castlemont High School graduate and former Latino Men & Boys student said, “If it wasn’t for them, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have graduated from High School.” Today Luis is a freshman at San Francisco State University. See the full video below:
