The Unity Council and its program the Fruitvale Business Improvement District (BID) engaged AECOM’s Sustainable Economics Group to prepare an Economic Development and Commercial Corridor Strategy defining the next phase in the district’s revitalization. AECOM is a U.S.-based multinational engineering firm that provides design, consulting, construction, and management services to a wide range of clients. AECOM has approximately 95,000 employees, and is number 156 on the 2016 Fortune 500 list.
