The Unity Council and La Clinica de la Raza are partnering to launch a promotoras cohort with a focus on Covid-19. The four-week workshop series will teach you how to organize community events, how to educate your community about Covid-19, and will provide you with everything you need to know about the Covid-19 vaccines.
All classes will be online via zoom. If you do not have access to a computer or internet you can schedule an appointment to use the computer lab at the Fruitvale Neighborhood Career Center located at 1900 Fruitvale Avenue Oakland, CA. 94601.
Eligibility
- Must speak Spanish, the workshops are offered in Spanish only
- Must live in Oakland
Incentives
- Participants will receive a stipend for attending the classes
