Heather Brown is a seasoned operations and management professional with over a decade of experience in driving organizational success through strategic thinking, financial acumen, and effective leadership.
Currently serving as Vice President of Property Management at The Unity Council in Oakland, CA, Heather oversees a $9.5M property portfolio, secures significant annual fees, and ensures compliance with regulatory agreements. Her expertise spans mixed use property operations, federal and state affordable housing compliance, financial planning and sustainability, and overall staff leadership. Heather holds an associate’s degree in real estate from Chabot College, as well as accreditations from the National Center of Housing Management as a Certified Property Manager, Certified Occupancy Specialist, EIV Specialist.
She is a Certified Housing Quality Standards Inspector, has completed her Asset Management Specialist certification with the Consortium of Housing and Asset Management, and working towards her Certified Housing Asset Management accreditation.
